I paint on Computer using a stylus and specialist software.
Digital painting gives me much more freedom and better results than traditional methods. I Print using Dye Sublimation technology, which provides levels of detail & colour range not available in established print methods
Hand Texturing & Glazing
Digital prints are flat, without texture or life.
Paintings should have life & texture, so I apply many layers of modern polymers & brushstrokes to add a 3rd dimension to my prints, using methods from the Dutch masters. I use thin layers of coloured acrylic glaze to get further depth & body.
